Skysurf world champion Oliver Furrer and a team of 20 skydivers executed an aerial stunt as part of the promotion for the movie ‘The Fantastic Four – Rise Of The Silver Surfer, which was released on 15. of June 2007. The jump started at 13,000 feet with the 20 skydivers building up a formation of the numeral ‘4’. Then the comic book icon, the Silver Surfer, broke through the formation at 125 mph, smoke trailing from his silver board. The event was witnessed live by 180'000 fans together with the stars of the Fantastic Four: Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.

The video feeds from the cameramen Tom Sanders and David Clem Major, were broadcasted live, along with interviews, to 80 Mio viewers.
